Why Does Your Mind Play Tricks on You? Answers from Evolutionary Psychology
Charles Darwin's 200th birthday is being celebrated at the University of Colorado, Boulder Campus, with a special program from the Boulder International Humanist Institute, in collaboration with the American Humanist Association and the Center for Inquiry. The featured speaker is noted research psychologist Gary Marcus, author of the recent bestseller, Kluge: The Haphazard Construction of the Human Mind. Offering introductory remarks about Charles Darwin will be Jennifer Bardi, editor of the Humanist magazine and former science editor with the Scripps Institute.
