Alliance for Science 2009 High School Student Essay Contest
This is an online resource.
Annual essay contest open to high school students. In honor of Darwin's 200th birthday, this year's topic is "In Darwin's Footsteps". Students are asked to write an essay about a modern day scientist, group of scientists, or scientific organization that demonstrates the same virtues of patience, perseverance, originality, courage, humility, and compassion that Darwin demonstrated during his career. Deadline for essay submission: Feb. 12, 2009.
