| COPUS is a grassroots, community based initiative with administrative and financial services provided by the American Institute of Biological Sciences and University of California, Museum of Paleontology. COPUS is largely supported by volunteer contributions from individuals and their organizations; with financial support for events provided by the Whitman Institute.
